Empty ex-55 gallon fish tank stocking?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
No thats not true, just cause they dont eat each other doesnt mean they can live together. They must have similar habitats. Would you but a tropical fish with cool water natives, no. Same with reptiles.

You can only if the soil has no fertilizer on it and none of you neighbors use pesticides. I would say spend the 2 bucks at lowes for a bag of it. For the branches bake them for at least 45 minute or pour several pots for boiling water on it.

If you're still interested in doing fish but still want to do tree frogs as well, build a paludarium - fill the tank half way with water, put fish in, then build some sort of land structure above that for the frogs.

A bearded dragon! The best rep pet I'v ever owned! He had a personality and loved interaction with the kids and me, hated my ex! so he was smart too!

Ohhhh that's a good idea rudukia13 and I should just look for substrate at loses cause I dnt feel like spending 30 dollars at petsmart for just substrate

I dnt wanna super complex vivarium or terrarium. Just somthing simple that I can enjoy with easy maintianence. And I won't have as much plants because i actually wanna see my animals lol. Do frogs require heat lamps and heat mats like most lizards?

well things that can be for life are things such as bearded dragons, anoles, leopard geckos, crested geckos (prefers height though..), or even pacman frogs, tree frogs, fire bellied toads, etc and for amphibians if you hold them make sure you wash your hands before and after but thats a general rule for reptiles to..but frogs for sure since there skin is sensitive..oh yea and if you do get a fire bellied toad there skin has toxins so like i said make sure you really wash your hands..

Most frogs or amphibians in general do fine at room temperature and don't require heat, but it's always a good idea to double check a few care sheets to know for sure. If the animal you want does require a higher temperature than room temp, a simple heat lamp will do the trick.
