empty fish tank has baby fry!!!

wow, I would bet on mosquito larvae if the tank was outside, they look kind of like fry sometimes. Also stoneflies look like fry sometimes.
 
Sigh......white film,no water movement....Did you even think you may have had mosquito larva and NOT fry? Put a tank in your back yard with a little water and see what happends...The "fry" swimming in the white film was probably hatching mosquito's....

Never seen this before sounds very interesting. Now by gears are turning thinking of a way to purposly do that and feed to my fish.

Uh so what did you do with the possible fry again?? Sorry if I totally missed that..


and I second if they were Tetra fry (any tetras) would be the shizzy!! too bad if you just got rid of them..

Yup totally agree.. Mosquito or some other insect larva...I just cleaned some out of a tank in my back yard... I have also seen this happen on inside tanks where the maintenance was questionable.
