Empty Tank throwing ideas around

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
if you want to see them being active u can choose the african cichlids Mbuna.
like the other person said, red zebras, they are bright orange mbuna. the only problem is ALL species of cichlids eat plants everytime ive ever planted a tank it slowly get barren.

i'd be worried about the poly with rams though, as they're smaller. i keep my rams in with some live plants, and i also have some in with my mbuna. mbuna tend to be plant eaters, but mine haven't bothered whatever the thing i have in there is lol. it's called a parrot plant or something like that. they pick at it occasionally, but most people have bad experiences with plants and mbuna. ithink mine don't because it's not regular leaves they are starnds that hand off a main vine.

keyholes stay small as well.

if you're set on a poly i'd go with the mbuna =]

Well I think I have my picks now. Thanks again for your help. Just have to wait for the funds now.

probably cichlids in my 46 and maybe get into planted with my 33 since it's in the basement and my gf won't see it so I can get "uglier" fish
