Raising children is challenging and we learn much of it as we go. I'm thankful my kids are all good today.

The way I look at it, I am performing a valuable service to them. They get an indoctrination into the harsh realities of dealing with the less savoury elements of society which will serve them well as they navigate through life. It's a character-building experience for them...yeah, that's it...

We tried that tough love and character building malarkey with our little surfer dude friend, only instead of building his character, I think we dismantled it, lol.

The coronation will be round at your place with a few members present. We'll make merry for a while and then there's a traditional initiation ceremony where we all grab you and throw you in your pond!
Oh yes, high jinx indeed, what joy, it will be quite a party. But unfortunately it won't be particularly joyful for you as you haven't built your pond yet, so when we throw you you'll be sprawled out in your yard with minor abrasions and a mouthful of dirt.
I bet you wish you'd have built that pond now don't you!!! Lol.
I quite enjoy the big dirt hole in my backyard, it allows for natural weeds growing, beautiful sandy dirt, picture it!! Think about the party - oven baked crumpets and fresh-brewed ‘tea’, finding dory soundtrack blasting out of the speakers as I am knighted with a gravel vac!
