The one that surprised me was the Winter Skate, it says it is used as fish meal. Fish meal is one of the main ingredients in fish food : /.

The canned tuna is albacore.They breed like crazy and there offspring devolpents faster

Ryan a great thread. That is one of the reasons that though this is a hobby. It is also a form of conservation. It is why I encourage people that breed the more rare fish in the hobby to put them out there. Also people should not just dump fish in rivers and lakes without doing there homework because it can mess up the balanace of the ecco sysytem. About fish meal it was my impression that when they talk about fish meal on a package of fish food it consist of bones, eyes, the insides. Something like cichken meal in dog food it includes the feet, beek, bone, etc it is all grinded up and processed.
