would be first large poly is 6 by 2 footprint large eneuff ? also i have stingrays do you keep the two together pls coment. I know there eel, would they be flexible eneuff to turn around in the 6 by 2 tank ? sry first large bricher, looking to pick up boxing day.

They're not eels, the common name dinosaur eels are not descriptive of their taxonomy. As far as keeping them with sting rays, the two would work well together, provided the endli isn't small enough to be dinner. If you've already got sting rays it's pretty likely you've already got decent filtration so that likely won't be much of a problem. 6'x2' should be large enough for a while, my personal recommendations would be around 8'x4' that would allow even a fully grown specimen with enough room to fully move around. All over the web you'll find recommendations of even 150g being sufficient, I'd highly recommend you ignore those and opt for the larger size you'll more likely find recommended here.

yea, i know some can get over 30 inches, was just unsure if dealing with such a large specimen would be more eel like and arrow like flexability or more like a gar to stiff to turn around. I guess the real question is would he be able to turn around ok or would he have problems.

It would be able to turn, they aren't so stiff bodied as gars, but not quite as flexible as eels. While it would be able to turn around the additional size is purely to account for the animals comfort. Additionally it takes time and the proper parameters for the fish to reach such sizes, however, it is not uncommon.

I certainly hope I didn't dissuade you from pursuing an endli, as far as dels are concerned, depending on the size of your rays the dels may be just a tiny bit on the small side, just be sure to grow them out to a good size. As far as coloration it depends on WC or CB with CB you're more likely to see a more consistent green coloration. With WC you're more likely to find a larger amount of yellow speckling mixed with the green, though both certainly have the speckling. They'll also have a few vertical bars of black towards their rear, and on some really nice specimens you'll see the bars highlighted by yellow, which can be absolutely gorgeous. As always choose the one with the coloration you prefer, if you're able to.
