endli and lap varients with pics :)

i have been meaning to make this thread for awhile.... (been busy )
i have several polypterus and many were purchased from Toyin @ rehobothaquatics. all the specimens in pics are from him.

let me start off by saying that i have a small test group to show... meaning i have only had 1 of each local varient. patterns and colors may vary even in same group.

first set of pics are the lapradei......

the next set are the endlicheris....

i only purchased 2 endlicheris from Toyin, the guinea and nigerian. the nigerian died of unknown causes about 3 weeks after purchase. Jesse (keeperoftheropes) had similiar expierience i believe. it definetely had wonderful color and markings though.

Thanks for posting this. I don't see the difference on the endli's though because they're being kept over different substrates. The slight difference in pattern I've seen in CB pieces too.
