Is it safe to keep a 6 inch poly with a 12 inc clown knife & a 12 inc TSN?

I personally wouldn't do it. Knifes have some big mouths! Not sure about the TSN's though I have heard they can be tough customers for other fish to live with.

So, does anyone know what is a safe size gap between different bichirs? Is it safe to assume that any 12" bichir can and will eat a 6" bichir? Or is that something that is fairly uncommon?

I try to keep the size difference 2-3inches at the most-Anne

I have a small 3" senegal, and I ordered 4 more polys that will arrive later next week. My problem is that they range from 2" for the smallest(albino senegal) to 4.5"(ornate). Also, considering that my 2 senegals and my delhezi will not grow as big as my ornate and my endli...does that mean I will not be able to keep these together as adults?

Sorry for all the questions... I had just assumed that they would not be able to eat anything bigger than half their body size.

ive only had poly eat polys once.
my 12 inch lap ate a 3 inch ornate.
but other than that,ive kept 13 inch polys with 1.5 inch polys,2 inch polys,and the list goes on.
