Jakob, I respect you because you got class for willing to spend so much on a fish. I feel your frustration for spending so much money on fish when the fish we are buying is worth almost nothing in another part of the world. Let's start hating together.
I think people in US is generally tend to be cheap do not drop money on fish like the Australians, Europeans, and Japanese. The endli supplies have been so abundant that the price dropped dramatically this year. I forsee Endli coming to a Walmart next. I hate seeing any nice fish at Walmart because it make the fish feel less appreciated.

Heres the real problem with US prices many people start out with captive bred senegals for $6.00 one reason they are cheap they sexually mature in approx a year
while other species ie. endlicheri don't reach maturity for up to six years.So they need to be fed for 6 years roughly before theres any return on the investment.
