Could be bacteria, fin rot or new growth. Hard to tell you without pics.

If you have pics it'd help. Have you added or changed anything in the past few days? I would definitely stay alert if it is fin rot, but not jump to any sort of panic.

Left for work this morning in hurry and was not able to take pictures. Will take some now and share

Interested to see pics. My new gold dust that just came in is showing a bit of rot on the edges. Might just be shipping related but making sure the water is clean and addind some melafix. Tons of debate on whether melafix works but I have had success with it in the past so I will dose for a few days to see if it gets better.

So ya its all good now. I think gar combed the tail end in night but now its OK.
