Are you sure that a BGK can live with this thing long term? How large would a clown loach have to be to live with this thing?

I know that senegals and delhezis work well with BGK as they are smaller species. I just wanted to get a huge bichir and wanted to know if it will work long time. Well, so far, its working well with the BGK and both are at about 5 inches. I just want to know if it works together long term or should I get rid of one? I don't want the knife to die as I like it very much.

you don't have to worry as long as the BGK is big enough not to be eaten...
BKG can grow up to 12-14" I think...

Eventhough BGKs are VERY SLOW growers, couple of inch a year at best
