Can I keep either one in a 4x2x2 120g? If there's a choice, which one would you pick?

You could keep either. I would choose Endli.

which one you pick depends on what you want out of the fish and whatever else is in the tank. Both look cool.

dels = active, smaller (12-14") so can be with smaller tank mates

endli = not so active but monster (18-24")

Thanks for the info. They definitely both look cool. I guess Delhezis is way to go for me (activity and size).

He'll be with a GT pair (still looking for a female) and a small cat (jaguar probably). Maybe a Red Tail Chalceus dither but not sure yet.

Endlis are actually more active than delhezi, but every bichirs have their own activity level.

I would say get both of them and get other species as well. You can house lots of bichirs in a 120g.

really? most peoples endlis just pile up... my del is as active as a senegal
