If you wanna see your fish becomes very active bump the temp to 84 and starve them. You will notice that the endli, p. polli and sene will constanly swimming around the tank like an overall dwelling fish, while you see a delhezi just crusing around the bottom or close to the glass. If you add some caves or a bantch of floating plants, you will notice that the delhezi will just hide there most of the time till feeding time. Well this is just my own experince with all my 6 delhezis. All my other endli are very active especially when lights out.

@peathenster, if you have to pick only one, just flip a coin. If you feel disappointed slightly in the result, then pick the other species. Both would be best though lol

Here is a full tank shot of my 300g. This tank is just a temporary holding tank for them as I'm still building my plywood tank which is going to be 10x4x3 feet. I know it's an over crowded tank and I got plenty of bad comments about my tank in the past but you force me to show it so here it is. I can't get anymore extra tank for them as I have no other space to put the extra tank at home as I need the space for the new plywood tank. They used to be in my 535g but it got broken with a baseball because it used to be sitting in the living room. That's why all my fish are now in the basement.

well in my experince once my endli found his favorite spot he dont move much at all some time i got to drop the food in front of him just to get him to eat........ my dels always swiming he will even eat crickets off the surface of the wat when he takes it from my cuban......

Getting a small delhezi first...just paid...will be here tomorrow....no change of heart now
Well get all the smaller species of bichirs first then grow them out to 12"+ and get the big ones. Save the fast growing ones for last.
