Endlicheri with a red eye

The same thing happened to one of my endys.. but his eye looks like it did before now.
I dont think there will be any problems.

I guess I'll try it and if he doesn't get better, I'll do medication in the tank...

Good to hear, I feel the stress floating off me right now...:)

I'll do the bath and medication as a precaution.
 
its some kind of bacterial infection which started from a scratch or wound around the eye. 0.1-0.2% salinity and clean water parameters will guarantee a speedy recovery.

happened to my plat once and whole eye turned red and popped out with cloudy lens as well. got me real worried but it healed in a week plus by adding salt and feeding less and changing water regularly.

It is definitely a gram-negative bacterial infection. I'm treating the endi, and hopefully he'll make a full recovery.
