We thought we could get higher, but all of our striker purchases flopped. Badly. If we could just get a 10 goal/season striker we would have been top 6. This silliness with Thaksin Shinawatra and SGE is absurd. We have a wonderful - no ... GREAT - coach and he will get the sack. No one else in the Prem did as much with so little. Besides Steve Bruce

Actually I really like Everton. I hate Liverpool ... and Everton (re: David Moyes) play with flair and bravado, just the way English football should be. I think they need better depth to climb the tables and to play well in Europe. Your squad isn't deep enough for EPL, FA Cup, Europe and all the other silliness (Carling Cup?????).

Yeah i like everton too, i agree we need a bigger squad to compete. David moyes is a quality manager, he is really good at bringing players in for cheap from lower leagues which actually perform. Hes just signed a new contract tooherd everton are after the brazilian Jo hes said to be £18mill......

i have to agree with you tho, I HATE KOPITES

IMO we should of got further in the UEFA Cup,going out by pens is poor...we beat zenit too in the group stages

I like how it was a friendly match and Rooney still managed to get a yellow. You could see him telling the ref to "Go **** off" afterwards.
