Typically aim for having your entire tank run through your filters 5-8 times an hour.
Just your sump will run your entire tank 9x an hour. You really won't need both the HOB's. Personally I like 2 different filters on all tanks, so I would keep one of those two HOB's, but not both of them.

That is true, my sump is a beast but the problem is that i have a overflow box which won't pick up dirt from the bottom of the tank and i can't have power heads because i am going to use sand; So the extra mechanical filtration is needed. Any recommendations? All i really need is mechanical filtration, should i get a second ac70?
Who says you cant have a powerhead with sand? I do on all 4 of my tanks... Just takes some trial & error to get the position right. I like Koralia p-heads because the sand doesn't get sucked into the rotating assembly.
