i went with LED. the anemone has not moved yet and is eating and looks great. so far so good! i placed it right in the middle. heck it looks better now than it did at the LFS under their MH pendant. i have 3 LED boxes hanging over the tank, 120w each (each with 40 3w leds @ 80 lumens/w). No corals yet, other than some small LPS frags in my fuge. I will more than likely stick with LPS (soft). the hard stoney SPS are hard to maintain....few drops in temp or salt and you come home from work one day with a bleached tank....sounds like some stress and a lot of work for a rookie like myself! hehe
