Enough rockwork?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks for the comments everyone. Every rock grouping has one or two vertical rocks that has been glued to a flat slate rock under the sand (siliconed at a 90 degree angle). The other rocks lean on those main rocks. Everything is sturdy.

Do you guys think that it has enough rocks for the demasoni?

i had a tank like that once .. then all my ciclids killed each other :-( so now its on to O's but i love slate and its what i have in my tank ..

i would recommend more rocks and get rid of fake plant.

thank you!!!!:Di was about to say the same thing...i never get that fake plants in a very nice tank like that...

The rocks looks good, but the thing with the plant, if you wan't to keep it, I reckon it'd looks better to the far left or far right side of the tank. It looks weird to have one plant and have it centered

Tank looks nice, I agree it will be better to build some caves as the fish get larger to curb aggresion. As far as the plant, do whatever makes you happy on that end, it's your tank & you have to like it, noone else.

I have about 60lbs of lace rockwork in my tank and found it was super easy to stack because of the great texture of the rock. It's also very secure & the fish absolutely love it. It's the type of rock that's super easy to create caves with & looks awesome once you've gotten enough in the tank. I'm normally always changing up my tank but since getting it, I've loved it everyday:

I agree, more rock work will be needed as they grow. Here is a pic of my tank. I am also thinking of adding more rock.

It looks beautiful. From my experience with the demons. When they are mature they will go to war in there. I had 12 of them in a species only tank and man they were crazy. When they started spawning wow they were wild. Good luck!
