this is insane the fish look good i bet he is just trying to get a laugh when he says jk i have been doing bi-weekly changes on this tank for months
 
dude no im not buul ****ting tank is like that like for 3 months i just added that pot thing and that is it my fish are mint i dont want to kill them ya know if it tested crappy i would do water changes when needed my buddy is in the same boat

i think i can explain the situation!

i believe the tank is in proximity to a rift in the space time continuum. the tank was established before the rift in time began, this results in the tank getting set back in time to its prior stage. a stage where the tank was clean. the fish continue to grow because they are actually aliens who constructed the rift; they tend to research us. they merely teleport to a safe location before the tank is sent back in time. then the conveniently teleport back to the tank and go on with their research and devlopment.

I don't want to accuse you of BSing or trolling but having owned the fish you do in tanks that size and larger it's not possible to have 10ppm in that tank with those fish doing wc's every 4 months; any one of those fish by themselves would elevate it above that in a week or two. The only conculsions I can come to are:
1. You're doing the test wrong
2. You're doing more maintenance then you're telling us
3. You're using a nitrate reducer (media, filter, plants)
4. You are trolling
If there is another possibility I'm all ears.
 
wat is trolling i have a 2215 with seachem matrix with couse pads and a 2026 with media it came with from eheim and do water changes around every 4 months believe it or not i dont care i dont have nitrate rmover and if i get it wat is a good brand or wat to use

i think my theory from post #44 is sound..

heres a diagram explaining it better. the fish will egress from the tank via teleportation, before they enter the rift in the space time continuum:
