awesome thread. I live on a lake and catch 2-6lb large mouth bass all day long, I'll have to take some pics sometime. I just noticed the other week there are quite a few al. gar in here also. Saw one grab a fish and break the surface had to be 7' plus in length. I need to gear up for them, they would kill my current setups. I would love to fish some sh like what you get.
Will keep sharing once there are new CR,the lastest giant gave me a shock!once my lure touches water,just 2 crank and bang!next thing I knew was my line kept peeling out....

How big does Channa micropeltes actually get,A friend of my dad who lived in malaysia for a while told me his biggest catch was a 180cm(6ft) long snakehead.
He also said he caught a 120cm 4ft specimen,on photo's they never look to be 4ft long but even on google when you search for snakehead-fishing some websites are saying that the giant snakehead could reach 150cm in Length.

The record in SG is a 25kg specimen by some local angler but that was 8 years ago,for me till now i haven't landed something close 20kg my record is only a 12kg,average size in SG is about 6-9kg.I do know some parts of Malaysia still hold Monster Micropeltes and i'm still searching for someone who can bring me there
hopefully my dream will come true one day.
