Pinkies are a good source of calcium, especially for female geckos before breeding. I don't agree with the live pinky being fed.

Also you will need bigger than a 20 tall. 55 gallon is recommended for a tokay especially a male.

The live feeding was what I was referring too. I give both my Pyxie frog and my Beardie an occasional f/t pinky.

I have seen some tamed Tokays and they were pretty cool and chill.
