It doesn't mention that it can't be used on a plastic surface. I need to seal up my filter I'm building for my pond. Anyone knows if it works or if there's something else I can use.

What sort of plastic are we talking about? If you look around at Home Depot in the little section they have with the gorilla glue, super glue sells a two part adhesive that basically turns into acrylic as it hardens - can't remember it's exact name....I'd find somthing stronger than epoxy if you plan on having water resistance on the seal, though.
I got those plastic flower pots that I want to make a better seal around the holes I drilled in them to stick the piping in. It would have a bit of contact with the water, so I don't want it to slowly dissolve and start leaking.
I'm fairly certain this specific kind of super glue will not dissolve over time - you just need to give it the full 2 days to cure before immersing it.
Normal super glue will - but two part adhesives generally are permanent.
Even then you can get marine glue which is meant for repairing the hulls of boats, or other similar adhesives in the Gorilla Glue section at your local Home Depot.

Well, I've been using the super glue product I mentioned in a 60 gallon sump against high water pressure for a while now with no issue...it literally turns into acrylic after you mix the two together, and sets in 5-7 minutes.
the marine glues usually work with plastic as long as you rough up both surfaces first. but the real problem with some of the two part epoxies is that they release some nasty stuff and aren't rated for use in aquariums cause they can kill fish. but check the one you found it might not i just know the one my store sells will harm them
