Thanks for the input. Pretty sure I'll go with the emergency drain. Thinking I'll give the Jebao pump a shot as well. Was reading a lot of positive feedback on Amazon along with what you all have said.
Yeah, 150 gallons to "normal" people is still pretty obnoxious lol. I'm buying it mainly for my large clown loaches. So while 6' would be more ideal, I can make this 5 footer work. I will add pics and I'm sure have more questions once I get the tank.
