I don't know if anyone has read any of the books by Christopher Paolini but they are totally awesome!! I've read two of the three in the triology, and the only reason I havent read the last one is because it hasn't been released yet!! Very kewl story, lots of action and suspense, instantly grabs you and makes you not want to put it down. Best part is, they are makin a movie about it that comes out the 15th of December!! I can't wait! So excited am I!!! I don't know if there will be more than one movie or not, but it would make sense that the first movie be just about the first book. Anyway, just wanted to see if there was anyone else who shared my passion for this series.

I have read Eragon. I haven't even bought the second one yet (Eldest). I had to read Eragon first before I gave it to my 14 yr. old nephew. I will probably get Eldest and read it and then pass it on to him. Is the second book as good as the first one?
Eldest wasent as good imho as the first, but they are makeing a third. Christopher pike is also another amazing athur
Eldest had a lot of unexpected twists in it, and a few tense moments as well. It wasn't as action packed as Interitence, but it was still a captivating read. Most of the story was focused around Roran, his brother, or around Eragons training. I am in eager anticipation of the third book, which should be awesome in comparison.
No idear when the third book comes out...i hope its soon though cuz i reallly enjoyed reading them. I wonder if he has any other books he is workin on. Very kewl author, the movie will hopefully be a awesome. BTW...i read the book in two days....haha...couldn't put it down and read it each chance i got.
