erythrinus erythrinus breeding project

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
what would be my chance of breeding malas compared to ery ery?
the reason im asking is i dont want to lose any ery ery since i have no more money and dont want to be wasting it.
my gulper is hurt badly so i wont be able to make much cash.

LOL don't really have a point other then at the moment i probably don't have room for more then one and in a 40 breeder it might not be big enough for a group of them for life

We'll wen't to my a good LFS and i found one !!!:D got a little 1.5''-2'' for $39.99 a little pricey but i don't mind i really wan'ted one

Not sure about rainbows but common wolfs inhabit pools and still back waters in south america they can be found in rivers and such but deeper pools with less current are where commons are most likely to be found

For breeding your more likely to breed rainbows cause of there size and the fact there less aggressive then common you would need a very large tank to try and breed commons i would go for several hundred gallons a tank about 6-7 feet long and around 3 feet wide would be good but longer would be better alot of hideing spots would help alot to

actually, rainbows are much more aggressive towards each other than commons.
someone bred commons in a 75g.
and someone else bred them in a 90g.
no one has successfully kept more than one ery ery as far as a i know, except myself.
have fun with your ery ery.
mine has calmed down now.
not running all over the tank but always hovering.

really i've heard the opposite i've seen pic of rainbows kept to gether in groups of 3 or more also seen golds kept this way but don't think i've ever seen a group of commons kept together that lasted

I can look around i think theres a member here who has a group of them i ma be a group of golds but hes got atleast one rainbow in there i'll look
