Erythrinus sp. peru vs Erythrinus "normal"

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I always thought that Ery. Ery. was what is commonly sold around here as rainbows or red high fin wolves. The one lower down looks similar to hoplerythrinus unitaeniatus. Not saying thats what it is. I think I'd take the rainbow anyday over the ery. ery. then

This is my Erythrinus sp. Peru which reaches 8".

So these photos are of your Erythrinus sp. Peru?? Looks just to be a differenece in markings from the first rainbow wolf that was posted and nothing like what the OP website has as Ery. Ery.

Hate to revive an old post but I just came across this.. so I guess I really have a Erythrinus Sp. Peru as opposed to a Erythrinus erythrinus??

No, that's a regular ery ery. Some ery ery's don't have much orange on their sides. But SP. Perus get the orange more near the belly and don't have the orange strip at the edge of their dorsal fin.
