Escondido size?

Awesome specimen modest_man, thats what I wanted to see, any pics of this guy on a scale?
Thats the only Carpintis I've heard n seen grows over 10". I wish my lil guy grows that big.
 
Average size about 10" growth rate is kind of slow mine has grown from 3" to about 6" in like 4 months and it seems to be slowing down.
 
12" to 13" easily, it really depends how you raise them... ;)

Here is a picture of the one I sold a few weeks ago. He is about 2 years old and just shy of 12".
 
my cyanogutatus went from 3 inches to 4 inches in a little over a month. when i got i seen no teeth now he is full of pearly whites

Sorry that I didn't think about breaking out the camera after a treasured pet had died, but most of the people here know I'm not one for exaggeration. Can't remember if MDH saw the frozen remains, but the fish was 12" TL. He was shy for most of his life, but became very outgoing and personable in the year before his death.

That would depend on the size tank. I have 2 still at 1 1/2" in a 10g and from the same batch 4" in a 55g. Just goes to prove fish will stunt.:(
