Hey guys i was wondering if any of you had any experience with this filter and what do you guys think of it.

http://www.eshopps.com/deluxe.php

It will be used on my 55 gallon oscar tank and then later on, on a 75 gallon tank.

I was thinking it would nice because,
Large water capacity
Filter sock
Filter pad and drip tray
bio balls
oh and the price is pretty good.

thanks

lax

From the picture, it looks like it holds hardly any bioballs. Thats bad.

Yes that is the only thing i was looking at also. Thats what is making me re think that one. But then again its just a picture of it.

I think you can add stuff to it if i wanted to, Its made to hold a lot of water also. Maybe ill email the company and ask for my info on it. Just wanted to ask you guys about it.

hey guys. Well the company got back to me and he said its about 1 gallon of bio-balls. Seems a little low. SO i might look else where. I wanted to find a system with the filter sock and bio ball setup. I am having trouble finding a setup like that. I just like the idea of a filter sock simple and works so well. If you guys have any thoughts on good wet dry let me know. I was looking at the pro clear one but has no filter sock but still is nice.

lax.

just make one then, plenty of bio media, and filter socks, great diy from i think jdman in the diy section

Does anybody have any experience with the pro clear wet/dry or the Magaflow sump wet/dry filters. I need something to be quite also since the tank is in my bed room.

thanks.

If it's cheap enough just put your return pump in and fill it with bio-balls to just below the water level.
