Isla Taboga Panama via Milwaukee
This is the 3rd individual I´ve caught during the last month or so (it is the rainy season here), and the 1st one to survive beyond 3 days in my tank, (granted the ones before were added to a tank that turned out to be plagued by Lernaea.
Before adding the latest Eucinostomus, the tank had been treated with Prazicuantel, and a brought salinity of 3 ppt, and sat fish less, for a month before this individual was added.
All mojarra were caught in the Rio Mamoni (a large river) far from the sea,) the Rio Uni, and Rio San Juan, both smaller streams also quite far upstream from the sea.

It is about 4¨ TL (10 cms), and at the moment housed with 2 similar sized Gobiomorus dormitor caught in the same river, in a 180 gal (6ft) tank.

All have been captured in fast moving riffle areas,

Other species caught in all 3 rivers were Characins such as Roeboides, and Astyanax, but non kept, because many commonly carry the Lernaea parasite.
