Hey Trevor,

I've seen the show and i have mixed feeling about it.
I like it that they used your footage for TV but i don't like the fact that they are calling the snakehead a monster fish or a frankenfish.

I mean the snakehead is not a monster it's a fish. People don't like them because they don't understand them, as always when people are afraid/scared or they don't understand something they just don't like.

As a fisherman i would like to try to fish for snakeheads but in their original environment like he did at the end of the show, and i would do like he did send it back to nature. That was one of the part of the show that i enjoyed, even the fishing itself looked fun but the "monster" attitude that he tried to give to the snakehead.... i didn't like that much.

My 2 Cent.

PS: Text me when you have a chance bud i lost your cell #.

I didn't know the boys have passed away. What happened?

Giant Snakeheads were the best fish I have ever had too. It's the kind of fish that makes its presence known in the house.

I had to release mine in the river (they are native here) because I was a kid and my parents were not able to handle them lol. I'm looking forward to get my boys soon.

I know a guy who had to let his Giant Snakehead go because it jumped and bit his mother's hand as she leaned against the indoor pond. Luckily it didn't grab her hard.

Not trying to bash here because many people do it not realizing the potential damage that can be done but you shouldn't release captive fish even if it's a native species.

Reason being is that you can introduce parasites/disease that it picked up while in captivity and being native you know anything it could have caught the wild ones can catch as well and it also won't die allowing it to spread even further!

Again nothing personal just tossing it out there
