Anyway to adjust the flow of 2260, it is blowing my fish around. I can't fit the spray on the back of tank, so it is on one end blowing the hell out of my fish.

Sent from my iPod touch using MonsterAquariaNetwork app

I made some outlets for my 2262's out of 3/4" PVC. You could do something similar with the intent of reducing current within the tank.

at the expense of being DIY ignorant, could you explain. my rainbows seem to like it but then even they leave it a while and the guppies hate it, they hide behind the plants, and well the plants sway like crazy.. btw it is a 225 tank

Jason offered good advice. Rotate the spraybar so the holes are angled more toward the glass that the spray bar is mounted to or you can angle the spraybar holes more toward the surface of the water so that it ripples along the length of the tank.

you could also use some of those long fake plants that float at the op of the tank and attach to the outlet ad that will slow the water down. their like 3' long.

wow didnt think of turning it, and I actually have 2 16 in floating bamboo up against it, no help, that is a crazy flow, wont stress tank tht kinda spray continuously hitting it, I mean I know it holds a lot of pressure already. lol I get so dang paranoid even since a seal busted on my 180.. sorry guys

It will not stress the tank or glass by the spray bar output pointing at it.

another more drastic option you could drill the holes slightly larger in the spray bar but only a little at a time and then try it. (may want to buy a spare spray bar to experiment with)

I have a 2262 in just a 180G (6ftx2ftx2ft) and the current is not too strong at all. usually I have the spray bar on, but when I pull that off the current is much weaker. Perhaps you could put more fine polishing media in the top of canister. the real fine stuff can slow the flow somewhat.
Quick connect valves can be turned to dial down the flow too ( as much or little as desired). I do it with a 2217, in my 40B qt tank during feedings so my baby archers can eat off the surface without food getting blown about & wasted. that's easier than reaching inside and turning the outflow in a different direction every time.
