ever been bit?

I got bitten by my 12" endli before when it jumped out of f the tank. I tried to picked it up by the head and it bit me. It didn't hurt but I'm sure bigger ones can give a nasty bite. 20"+ bichirs let say... plus death roll and spine. Nasty combination.
Don't know, not too worried. I doubt they could do huge harm, not a senegal at least. Now my larger gars freaks me out, with it's huge teeth. I drop the food in really quickly and he attacks it instantly with his teeth.
My Oscar bites me anytime I leave a finger out while working in the tank. He floats near my fist and just waits for a chance. He's drawn blood a few times. I feed him through a hole in the lid of the tank because he's convinced I'm better to bite than the food... Silly guy...must be that wild-caught vigor. Or just standard Oscar operations.

I taught my Oscar to jump before eating, lol. He would always jump so I waited till he jumped then fed. I would open the tank and wait till he jumped out of the water a bit then feed. Oscars are puppies in water essentially, just a bit uglier.
You know what? I've never reinforced my Oscar's jumping/lid-bonking and he still does it like it's a magic button for getting food. I've tried extinction on the behavior but he just keeps banging/jumping, then resorts to tail-slapping water at me through the crack at the edge of the lid where I feed him. But it is fun to let people feed him without warning them. He soaked my brother-in-law. I was rolling on the floor.
