So i was thinking about trying out some live earth, meal, or super worms. Just wondering if anybody had ever fed their piranhas worms. Any luck?

i feed mine earth worms at least once a month, im not sure about the nutrional value although i would imagine its quite good for them...either way, the worms are eagerly accepted.

I have in the past and they love them. Get night crawlers from Wal-Mart or something. BTW worms are high in protein and fat.

I havent fed them worms yet but mine go crazy for Prosalt silversides they love em ! I am going to try some night crawlers though within the next week or so.

They love em, and are good for them, just get them from the store so you know their not contaminated with chemicals or anything from your lawn

I highly suggest against it. My previous P's owner fed him worms, as a result during moving i've dealt with hexamita (hole in the head) 3 times. I think it's more of a personal preference for me, but I wouldn't wanna deal with that mess ever again.

i feed mine worms whenever there is some left over from fishing.. they usually gobble them up within second of hitting the water..

well I tried feeding super worms but they float and he doesn't like floating food. Any suggestions on making them sink?
