* Ever had a fish you've never seen eat?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I've had my striped raphael for about 5 1/2 yrs and i have never seen him eat once. He did grow large and fast so i guess he ate something.

I haven't seen my glass catfish eat until today. My angels always seem to beet them up. If ghost shrimp count, I haven't seen any of them eat.

I have a monopterus albus that I have never seen eat. I assume it does eat because I've had it for about a month now. Maybe it's just REAL hungry by now.

**UPDATE** It was apparently REAL hungry. I fed sinking pellets, catfish chunks, frozen (bloodworms/tubiflex worms/silversides/brine shrimp/cyclops/beefheart/krill), floating pellets and occasional small feeder guppies. AAAANNNDDD... the fish that can survive from CA to FL and most places inbetween DIED from starvation. :screwy: :nilly:  :irked: :WTF:

How big is he? I've had for 5 years & he's about 5", with a big pot-belly.
Im guessing 3.5-4". He has grown much higher in the last 2 months.:headbang2The pictures make his black colouration fade but he is 100% Jet Black with white tips on the dorsal, pelic and anal fins plus a vibrant red tail.

I never see my 4.5" delhezi eat. And I've definitely never ever ever seen my peacock eel eat anything. I'm sure he must though as he's always happy and dancing.

I have a couple of NGTs that I have had for 3 months now and I have NEVER seen them eat. All they care about is hiding and blending will their surroundings. Although their coloration have become a little bit more stable. They use to be all black with an "orangy" vertical stripe on their forehead denoting that once they become fully stable, they will be a couple of stunning NGTs.
