 i caught a pike that was 50.7 inches in the elkhart river! it took forever to land it. i brought it into the boat measured it as im moveing it to the live well it flops back into the water

i've done stuff just like that, and it seems when you have the really big one right at the boat, it always breaks your line.

Reeled in a nice channel cat the other day on a super light rod with like 4 pound test line. It was around 2' or so and I got it all the way up to the dock. Raps it's self around the post on the dock so I go to grab it and the damn thing gives one good whip of the tail and goes....

had a 22 pound channel cat on the line maybe 3 feet from shore it does a nose dive and pulls out my hooked and the bait is slung back at my face.

caught a 28" pbass in my backyard canal, and as I was going to put it into the bucket (to keep), i dropped it on the canal bank and it flopped back into the water. I was ticked

I have had salmon jump out of the boat just as I got the hook loose.
