The 4 pbass alone will outgrow that tank in a year. Easily....

Take the $400 you have....save a couple more hundred...and pick up a nice second hand 6x2x2.

You will have more options then.

I had one go from 4" to over a foot in a year.

But like I said before...your tank will be too small for the pbass alone.

You could do it but you will end up stunting them...

You cant fit any in a 55 gallon for long. Plus you run the risk of losing fish in a tank that size. I dont know how you feel about losing money, but thats alot of money to throw away.

I suggest you wait till you got the bigger tank. Just be content with what you have now. Those Snooks and PBass you have get big and you cant house either in that tank for long.

Rethink your stock, and get the bigger tank 1st. I guarantee it will work out better if you do this.

I am, going to email or ring the LFS that makes custom stands and tanks, going to ask them for a quote for a 8x3x3 and a 6x3x3

Shame your not in Sydney bro, There is a guy at the fish shop called Aquamart in castle hill he has a 8x2.5x3 tank and I think stand. He only wants a couple of hundred for it might be worth your while to give him a call

Why? I'm nowhere near sydney. It would take me to days to go there and back. Unless there is someway he can ship it. Well on the back of a truck.
