Hybrid section anyone?

But it's not a hybrid? Its a Carpinte in my understanding. I dont browse the hybrid forum much though, maybe it is a hybrid, but Im pretty sure it is just a really nice carpinte or escondido variant.

Didnt find anything special. Just some cyano and carpinte in the images and this and another thread haha. Explain my friend? The lady would like one too, and were here anyways.

Green terror crossed with texas, or you could cross an escondido with a texas terror, which I've done. It's all over Asian FH websites, dig a bit deeper.

.. You obviously haven't seen these fish - they aren't hybrids. Best not request thread moves to the Hybrid section based purely on the words "Super Green Texas".

After seeing these fish in the store a number of times I really think they're just line or quality bred Green Texas that are coming out of their juvenile colouration. Not worth the extra $100 on the price tag however.

yeah.... I def couldnt find anything haha

I vote link as well, not that I dont believe you, but because I wanna see haha. It makes sense:

greenxgreen=green^2=super green haha

See I did the math :grinno:

Are you guys sure they are not just escondido's. They are just really bright carpintis with larger spots. I wouldn't think a texas and green terror would cross very easily and I've never heard of such a thing. Doesn't mean it isn't happening, but I've never seen or heard of them in the US and there descriptions certainly sound like a carpintis texas to me. What makes you so sure they are hybrids without seeing them bid dovii? If you are breeding them like you claim why don't you tell us how it works, because green terrors do not generally hybridize easily at all.

OP, did the fish you looked at resemble this http://www.tangledupincichlids.com/images/esconfem.jpg ?
