Ever seen a $500 dollar bichir?

p.ansorgii is the newest bichir in the trade. it was thought to be extinct not to long ago if i am not mistaken. so far Toyin is the only one able to import them in the states. last i heard there is less than 10 in the US.
$500 for this bichir is reasonble for such a rare specimen. i have seen pics of the first ansorgii after it was settled in its new tank. very gorgeous fish. it has very distinct markings but appears to have a similiar body shape to the lapradei.
That's because MFK rules. Harley is doing well - I've been keeping her with a pair of laps and have had no problems. She settled in two days ago and went back to eating - has quite an appetite. I'll post pictures whenever I get good ones.
