a store not too far away from me has a pair for $39.99 a piece. are they rare? im thinking about just using the filter on my brothers tank and his water from his w/c to start a tank for them.

hmmmmmm patternless? are they black? i've seen pure black tank-bred clown fish they are cheap at about £8 each. hmmmm

no. let me clarify once more, cause i didnt know what to think at first. they are ocellaris clowns with NO stripes. just the black outline around the fish. i have seen them once before but thought nothing of it. the store clerk said that in the wild they are the first to die, due to difference in the pattern. he said the other clowns kill them off cause they stick out like a sore thumb.

$40.00 is about the going price for "naked" ocellaris clowns. I believe ORA distributes them...

ah right....yeah i've seen them. 40$ is only £20 so yeah thats about the right money. if they were "rare" they would cost ALOT more.
