It's what I'm studying ;)

I'm pretty good with my identification, but there are still many that you need a microscope to actually get it down to species.

Most poisonous ones will only give you gastro-intestinal problems... there are a few here that will outright kill you, but you can handle them all you want - you have to eat them to get sick.

The picture with the mushrooms lined up are Chanterelles, the King Bolete (AKA Porcini, Cep), and the Blewit... some of the top edible (and expensive) mushrooms available :p

Only a couple more weeks, or whenever the frost hits, and no more mushroom hunting for 6 more months :(

Thats interesting for sure.. i know every year in our paper there will always be at least one person picking the wrong type and eating them and they die..i love all types of mushrooms ...are these types available in our area..?

Took some more pics today... it is so beautiful today.. about 70 degrees which is unusual for here..
