That sounds like a great idea! I wonder when someone will come up with a general alarm system for aquaria with an alarm for temp, pH, NO2, NH4, etc..

Another safety measure is to turn off heaters during the summer. Mine are already unplugged

heaters are a must in my area. to hard to maintain 80F without them

I have always had those on my main tanks..not that brand though.
