Lol, yea this week has been killer when it comes to blackouts, weve had 15 in 5 days, each ranging from 10 minutes to 7 hours, its driving my fish nuts, not to mention me! the main reason it sucks is because all my filters go off, and all the crap stuck in the intake valve goes everywere, and then i have to refill them everytime, its just so annoying lol

in michagain (where i live) my county went into a state of emergancy because of tornados (which we never get) there were like 3 in the state. our power was out for 1 week and 3 days!!!!
I hate blackouts! I am always running around my house like a maniac setting up a generator and hooking it up. My old house used to have a 60 amp breaker in it so you can imagine the damn thing blew every 5 minutes if the Microwave and toaster were on lol. My new house runs on newer breakers so I can run anything I want with out the entire damn house going black.
Fish tamer keep your noob advice to yourself! With your 20 gallon tank... o sure I guess baby plants do give off enough oxygen for a 20 gallon but where talking real tanks here id say stick with the small electric generators they can run for few hours until the power kicks back on then they will start charging again! you will never have to worry as long as the blackout doesnt last over 8 or 10 hours.
