Sorry for yor loss. I am even more sorry that you are giving up on fresh water because of it. Blaming the TSN for eating is like blaming a dog for barking. A TSN will eat any and every thing they can fit in their mouth.

Yeah, Big cats are unpredictable. Even if you think they cant fit it in their mouth, they find a way. Some guy had a 4/5 inch Gulper cat eat an 11 inch aro or something like that. It was amazing and the Gulpers' body looked like a hatchet fish from having that big aro in its stomach.

Had a tsn that ate my 10 inch aro, 2 parrot fish and a 8 inch Irridescent shark. When he ate my Aro that was the last straw and he became property of a local
LFS. weird part was I picked a shovelnose over a striped raphael cause i heard those guys would eat all their tankmates

:screwy: really? raph's only get lke 6"-8" usually and hide constantly. So you picked the eventual 2.5'-3' monster?
 
what the hell do you expect they are hunters and killers by nature if you dont want it to get eaten dont put it in with them . it was a gamble you took and lost . imo
