my male flowerhorn!!!!! so cute and lovely and pretty at 2.5-3" till half my fish died in one night and i blamed it on the venustus or tyrannochromis....then noticed my FH staring at me looking all pretty with his fins perfect and notshredded and descaled like everything else that was left in my tank....hhmmm
so i thoiught he had done the owrse damage, all i had left was a 2ft plec, 8" gibb, 3" white tail plec that never came out anyway and a 10" delhezi bichir oh and a female fh that must have been about a cm smaller than him.
next day, 2 smaller plecs are dead, delhezi is floating on the top alive but all burst blood vessels, the big plecs eyes were missing and he was looking pretty bad and the female fh was, well, just alive.
he went straight in to his own tank!!!
2ft plec died that night, was absoloutly heartbreaking and the female fh finally grew all her fins and scales back and the del pulled through....until he got his head stuck in an ornament a couple of weeks ago.
