Thanks again everyone. Modest, you remembered, yes she's the one who was beat up but healed up just fine and getting along pretty good now.

Looks like they are going to be beautiful fish when mature. I ended up getting the ornatus instead of the Atromaculatus but really like yours.

Nice....I actually got both but the Ornatum are too small to make a pic thread on yet. Everyone would laugh at them hahaha.

They are looking good.

Not really. For a fish as rare as the Ornatum, it would be nice to see how they progress.

Nice fish, you should defiantly keep a record of the progress of the Ornatum and post that at some point. I'm sure we would all like that. Also with the good pics it would show what they look like as mature fish as I have only seen them with a point and shoot camera and average videos and they still looked nice.

Wouldn't have ever guessed that was the same female that was torn up in your previous thread. She looks so much better. I think the male is a prize too.

Beautiful fish man! im guessing these are the ones rapps has now? I might have to look into getting myself a female :D
And id post the ornatums too bro, we got one from rapps at the LFS i work at and hes gorgeous even at 2.5"

To those who asked, these are wild caught Atro's from Rapps. The male is more outgoing and personable than the female. He comes to the front and center of the tank with the other fish when it's feeding time but isn't constantly 'owner interactive' like my Green Terror's or male Festae. The female stays at the back of the tank most of the time. I wonder if by nature they're just not personable fish, or if future generations might be more responsive? I guess that's to be determined.
