How big is the one you got in? Are you keeping it in it's own tank or with other fish?
Hes about 3" or so, and we had him in a tank with some cutteri and a severum but he was intimidated and hid 24/7, so now hes in his own cube and seems to be doing okay except that he still hides quite a bit

^^Sounds a lot like young Festae. Good luck with them. Hopefully you'll have more updates to share through the years.

Ime young Festae are more aggressive than these guys. I've had Festae be outright killers from a young age whereas these just seem a little nippy.

Seems like they're starting to get more popular. Do you mind if I ask how much the lfs is asking?

Mine come out and swim all around if I'm not in the room. I can hide around the corner and watch them, they're scared of me but not other fish lol. How much are you guys pricing that guy at? I'm really curious what they're selling for, thanks.

Vey nice, it looks like they all get along? I have a grammodes in a 360 and he won't get along with anything, he makes me so mad... I like for him to be aggressive, but he is too aggressive... Balton777, How do you keep them getting along? I had him with green terror, red terror, midas, motaguense, convicts, escondidos, black nasty, beani, salvini, 5 spot jewel, pink fenestrata, red jewels... Not all at once, but he don't like nothing... all of this was tried in a 360 gallon tank, again not all of them at once, and most of them when small. Hmmm... Anyway, Balton777, you keep some pretty fish, nice job :)

I had to sell my monster 9" Grammodes for the same reason. He wouldn't get along with anyone or anything. He needed his own tank and I couldn't give it to him. I really wish I could have though, he was awesome. The others didn't get along at first, I was getting worried but suddenly they just clicked.

Still a bit high priced depending on size but affordable I guess. Would love to see pics if you get some.
