TY for all the kind words everyone. Sorry, I have no fry for sale. I've been thinking of putting the Festae in a tank of their own again. They haven't bred since I put them in a community tank.

i looooove these two. Beautiful. i want fry!!!Is there any signs of agression between the male festae and the closet dominate cichlid in the community tank? I'm impression at this point they have not made an attempt to spawn and terrorize the remainder of the fish in that tank.
They haven't bred since I put them in a community tank. For a while I was thinking of putting them back in the smaller tank by themself to breed but changed my mind. I originally put them in here to stop the breeding in order to get the most growth I could. TBH, I don't care if they breed or not, I just want them to keep growing as big as they can grow. I don't need baby fry and all the aggression it brings with it. My tank is perfect just how it is. They have a strong bond with one another and the male doesn't try to kill the female. I went thru a lot of Festae with previous attempts at getting a bonded pair like this one. I'm happy with things the way they are but if they happen to breed then so be it, I'll dish out the fry to everyone.
