hey all. newer to site and just wanna say great resource. but why i'm here is to find out if anyone has seen any tsn/rt cat hybrid that looks like mine. i've seen quite a few of the fishes but not one that looks like my Biggie at about 15". it seems to be an exact 50/50 of the tsn and rt as far as appearance is concerned...any input or experiences would be great.:nilly:

post a pic here's one of mine at 31-32"

hmmm, not showing your pics try posting again. Must be because you don't have five posts yet! So on your sixth post you should be able to see and post pics!

he's pretty cool lookin. I have seen other memeber's with hybrids that look like your's mine kinda looks like that from the side jut way fatter lol. The pattern spreads out as they get bigger just like a TSN. Look at the pics of mine you can tell. They grow incredibly fast. How long ago did you rescue him? Beautiful fish, what you planning on housing him in?

got him as a baby (bout 3 inches). he's in a 125 right now with a tsn, lima, and 4 red belly pacu. hoping to house him in a 10'x15'x4' basement pond but if that doesn't happen in time the 6' cattle bucket sounds like a good alternative for the time being...where did u get u'rs

got mine at a local farm supply store, look in your phone book they should be listed. They measure 6' x 2', and 350 gal. Mine's been in his for a year, I don't think he would outgrow it for a long time. That's a hella footprint on these cattle troughs. I am none the less moving again lol. This time buying my own place and building a custom aquarium in the oversized garage. I want to finish it is 2 years time. So I should be safe until then. Measurements close to what you want 8' x 16' x 4'. With one pane of glass on the front, and if the wife gets her way on the sides too lol. She loves the fish.

I had one. It was an awesome catfish. I lost him while moving. I've only seen them for sale twice. Once where I was living and where I bought it and another place about 40mins away from where I live now.
