Yes it will, but by that time u will find a bigger and better deal on craigslist for the up grade hehe. Just my opinion I alway like red tegu when I was keeping reptile awhile back.
tegus and beardies both would outgrow that pretty fast, i wouldnt go with either for that enclosure unless its just a temp.
Not really a temp. What about a frilled dragon? Or plated lizards? I've always heard great things about the plateds.
No, it's too small for a frilled dragon, but one of the smaller species of plated lizard might work provided that you can maintain a fairly high temperature on the basking end and a cooler temperature on the cool end.
Maybe some type of gecko(s)? There's a huge variety of really interesting ones, for a wide variety of temperatures and set-ups. You could probably find some really cool ones for an enclosure like that.
You don't think 48"X18"(or maybe 24"? didn't really specify) is big enough for a beardie? The other dimensions are for a terrarium to go on the shelf in the setup, not the main enclosure.
