Excess males or females

I had Nanolutae in the past as well. Great fish, as mentioned very peaceful for a cichlid. At most they will just chase things away, never attacking them.
They are rather easy to sex. The females have a black spot in the dorsal fin, and the body is more egg shaped.20210321_201542.jpg
The male doesn't have this dorsal spot and the body as a whole is more robust. 20210321_201547.jpg
You can also see a greenish/blue tinge in her fins.
I had mine with bleeding heart tetras and a pink tailed chalceus with no issues.20210321_194734.jpg20210307_125339.jpg

Mine were in a 6ft 125gal. Started with six fish, ended up with 3 each male/female. In no time there was 3 pairs and lots of fry.20210110_170909.jpg
